A timeline for every person you track: who’s online, when, and for how long. Every recorded status change on a 24-hour day view, and up to a year of history, by plan. The record Teams doesn’t keep.

Spot presence that looks gamed

Six automatic flags surface unusual presence patterns, like hours of unbroken Available with no idle, the kind a mouse jiggler tends to leave. Idle suppression from Standard up, all six on Pro and Scale. A pattern worth a look, not proof.

Quick and light

One read-only Microsoft sign-in, about five minutes, nothing installed on anyone’s laptop. No screenshots, no keystrokes, no message content: Presify uses the presence Teams already has.

  • Online time and trends

    Daily and weekly online-time totals per person, and a team average on the dashboard, so “how much is my team actually online?” has a number, not a guess.

  • Per-person insights

    Each person’s weekly and monthly online time, a multi-week trend, an after-hours split and their typical start and end.

  • Business hours and time zones

    The member page and the Member presence report use each person’s own time zone. The dashboard timeline shows every row on the workspace day and marks each person’s business hours in their own zone. Business hours are, by default, their Outlook working hours (the workspace hours when those are unknown, or for everyone if you choose one window). Team presence, the Excel report and the Member presence report count inside those hours, in each person’s zone, by default; you can pick the workspace hours or all 24 hours instead.

    Coverage and time-zone overlap

    A weekly heatmap of when your team is online and the window when most of it overlaps. Useful for planning across time zones and finding the best time for a live meeting.

    Member presence reports, Excel reports and the Anomalies CSV, on demand. Pro and Scale also schedule Member presence reports and Excel reports weekly or monthly. Bring them to a better-informed one-on-one.

    Delegated, scoped visibility: give a team lead the Monitor role and they see only the people assigned to them, on the Dashboard, Coverage and Anomalies. Owners and admins run the reports.

    Presify reads Teams, not the laptop, so it works whether someone uses Teams on Windows, a Mac, the web, or a phone. No agents and nothing to maintain.

Spot presence that looks gamed

Six flags for presence that looks gamed.

A mouse jiggler or keep-alive script can keep someone green all day. It tends to leave a pattern, though: hours of Available with no idle, status changes at robotically even intervals, Teams activity that never varies. Presify checks everyone you track for six presence patterns automatically. Two of them mark unusual hours, which can just as easily be someone working late.

How Unbroken Available is calculated

Looks for a single Available status that runs with zero changes for at least your anomaly threshold (4 hours by default). Typical use records frequent transitions like Away, Busy, or In a meeting. Flagged medium, or high once the run reaches twice the threshold.

How Idle suppression is calculated

How Idle suppression is calculated. Looks for a continuous stretch where the account stays present and never reports Idle. Teams normally switches an account to Idle after the keyboard and mouse are inactive for a few minutes. This flags a span of 5 or more hours of presence with no Idle at all, but only when the rest of that day is flat (few status changes around the span), so a genuine heads-down work block inside an otherwise active day is not flagged. Flagged high. (The 5-hour floor and this flat-day check are tunable per workspace.)

    Sign in with your Microsoft 365 work account, confirm the connection statement for your organization, and approve one read-only admin consent. If you run the business, you usually approve it yourself. No new passwords.

Presify is built and hosted in the US, and it can track people in most countries except the EEA, the UK, Switzerland, and Canada. Anyone whose Microsoft 365 directory location is set to one of those is excluded automatically, and guest accounts are never tracked. Wherever your people are, notice, a lawful basis, and the local laws that apply to them are your responsibility.

When is the whole team online?

Coverage turns a week of presence into a heatmap of when your team is on, anchored to whatever time zone you choose. It surfaces the window when most of the team overlaps. Find the best time for a live meeting across time zones, and the hours no one is covered.
