Four read-only application permissions, approved once by a Microsoft 365 admin: Presence.Read.All, User.Read.All, Directory.Read.All and MailboxSettings.Read. Each person who signs in to Presify grants the standard User.Read. Presify never reads messages, chats, calls, files, or calendars. The documentation lists each permission and what it is used for.

Yes. The Monitor role sees only the people assigned to it, on the Dashboard, Coverage and Anomalies: their timelines, presence history, and flags. It has no Users page and no Reports, and in Settings only its own AI assistant connections. Owners and admins manage the assignments and run the reports.

Per committed seat: $2 per seat per month, or $21.50 per seat per year, from 251 seats, with every feature included. Workspaces tracking 250 people or fewer use a flat tier instead.

There’s no set upper limit. We’ve tested Presify on a Microsoft 365 tenant of about 2,000 users, and we can support tenants many times larger. You can buy up to 2,000 Scale seats at checkout. For anything bigger, just reach out first: tell us how many people you plan to track and we’ll set it up with you.

In US-based AWS regions: Presify is built and hosted in the US. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, every record is scoped to your Microsoft tenant, and every sub-processor is named in the Privacy Policy.

Yes, in most countries. Presify is for organizations with a US billing address, and the people you track can be anywhere except the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Canada. People there are excluded automatically when their Microsoft 365 directory location is set. Notice, a lawful basis, and local law where your people are remain your responsibility. Have a larger team in those countries? If your organization would track people there on an annual Scale plan (251 or more people), contact us. For a committed customer we are open to putting the safeguards those laws require in place first, under a signed agreement. Until then, people there stay excluded.

Yes, on every plan. The read-only connector lets Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot (through Copilot Studio), and other MCP clients answer questions about presence history, online time, flags, and coverage, within your plan’s features. Each person’s assistant sees only what that person can see in Presify, so a Monitor’s assistant sees only their own people. Owners and admins see every connection under Settings, then Connections, and can revoke any of them. Connections and revocations are recorded in the audit log (viewable on Pro and up, including Scale).

Yes: we recommend a written notice before tracking begins, and some US states require one. Presify records presence at every hour, evenings and weekends included, so your notice should cover those hours too. Some state laws limit monitoring outside working hours, so check the rules where your people work. The after-hours view is there to recognize work, not to watch personal time. Presify includes an employee notice template you can adapt with your own counsel.

Yes. The free 7-day trial needs no credit card and tracks only the admin who signs in, so you can see the timeline and online time on your own presence. Add your first department when you pick a plan.
